Fathom Restoration is pre-operational, but we're building our volunteer roster now. Certified divers, captains, HazMat-trained transport, shore-team support — we're tracking everyone who wants in when funding lands.

Every recovery operation needs more than divers. From shore-team support to community outreach, here's where we need help once we're funded.
USCG, NAUI, or PADI Rescue+ certification required. Direct participation in recovery operations under our Dive Safety Officer. Background check and pre-dive medical clearance required.
USCG OUPV ("six-pack") license minimum — 100-Ton preferred. Vessel operation during recovery missions. Insurance verification required.
No certification required. Surface support during operations — equipment staging, line tending, documentation, photography, and communications coordination.
CDL-A with HazMat endorsement. Backup transport capacity for recovered vehicles to certified disposal facilities. Compensated when active.
Community outreach, presentations to schools and civic groups, fundraising events, and grant-writing support. Remote work welcome.
Environmental scientists, marine biologists, GIS analysts, legal counsel, accountants, communications professionals — pro-bono contributions welcome.
A real volunteer program. Not a sign-up form that goes nowhere.
Complete a short interest form (live once we launch). Tell us your skills, certifications, and availability.
Background check, certification verification, and reference checks for field roles. Liability waiver for all volunteers.
Role-specific safety briefing and orientation. Pre-operation training for field volunteers; communications training for support.
Scheduled missions based on funding and target priority. We notify volunteers in advance and confirm 48 hours out.
